Mr. Hoffman concentrates his practice in General Litigation, and has experience in specific areas such as Medical Malpractice, Premises Liability, Professional Liability, Insurance Coverage, and Trucking Liability.

Biography:

Mr. Hoffman has been involved in a wide variety of litigation and trial work since his admission to the Bar.  He has a great deal of experience in cases involving medical malpractice, dental malpractice, professional liability, construction liability, premises liability, and insurance coverage, among others.  He has practiced in both Illinois State Court as well as Federal Court and has co-tried numerous medical malpractice trials to verdict in Cook County, Illinois.

Immediately upon his admission to the Bar, Mr. Hoffman began working for a plaintiff's litigation trial firm in Chicago, Illinois, where he acquired substantial experience.  Since joining Bollinger, Ruberry & Garvey, Mr. Hoffman has defended numerous clients in high exposure personal injury cases and medical malpractice cases throughout Illinois.  His experience on the plaintiff's side has enabled him to obtain the most favorable settlements and verdicts for his clients.

Mr. Hoffman also has substantial experience in Appellate work as well, and has authored several Appellate Briefs and Petitions for Leave to Appeal to the Supreme Court of Illinois.  In law school, Mr. Hoffman was a member of the First Amendment National Moot Court team and was also the winner of the Daniel Webster writing award for submitting the best brief out of all Moot Court participants.
